Overview:

Peviderm is a combination topical medication that contains an antifungal medication Econazole Nitrate and topical steroid Triamcinolone Acetonide, which helps decrease inflammation and itch. Econazole modifies the permeability of cell wall membrane in fungi; may interfere with RNA and protein synthesis, and lipid metabolism. Triamcinolone Acetonide suppresses the migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and reduces capillary permeability thereby decreasing inflammation. It is also used for fungal skin infections. This medicine is for use in adults and children.
