Overview: 

Pantoprazole is a specific inhibitor of the gastric proton pump (H+/K+- ATPase) in the parietal cell. It inhibits acid secretion by binding to the H+/K+- ATPase enzyme.

Pantoprazole is used to treat erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD).

Tablet              : 20 & 40 mg

Injection          : 40 mg IV
