Overview:

Gavicool Double Action is a preparation of Alginate-antacid which ensures fastest relief from heartburn, indigestion, hyperacidity & flatulence.

Gavicool Double Action suspension is a combination of two antacids (Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate) and an Alginate. On ingestion, the Sodium Alginate reacts rapidly with gastric acid to form a protective barrier (raft) of Alginic Acid, Calcium Carbonate neutralizes gastric acid to provide fast relief from heartburn and indigestion. This effect is increased by the addition of Sodium Bicarbonate which also has a neutralizing action.
