Overview:

Cobesol is a preparation of Clobetasol Propionate which has both local anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activity. Clobetasol topical (for the skin) is used to treat inflammation and itching caused by plaque psoriasis or skin conditions that respond to steroid medication. Clobetasol should be applied with gentle rubbing to the affected skin areas twice daily. Dosage should not normally exceed 50 gm/ week and the duration of a course should not be more than 4 weeks.
