As you know, Bangladesh is the only least developed country (LDC) around the globe that meets upto 98% of its local demand for pharmaceutical product and the market size is more than USD 2.5 Billion with yearly double digit growth. The industry also exports medicines to global markets, including regulated market as well. It’s now the high time to grow and prosper with professional skilled human resources with updated & technologically advanced therapeutic edge. We need to re-think the current business models and move to be more global, innovation led growth. That is what we are attempting to build here at Pharmasia, an enterprise of SONY-RANGS GROUP. We are currently charging ahead into mainstream pharmaceutical markets in Bangladesh and in touch with renowned global pharma giants around the world for business collaboration, distributorship and marketing there of.

The Pharmasia of tomorrow will have a business presence in many markets of the world across the fields of pharmaceuticals keeping its strong presence in Bangladesh market. Currently we are working towards garbing and growing our position of market leadership in key therapeutic areas like gastro-intestinal, cardiovascular, dermatological and anti-infectives with strong prescription driven sales. We will continue to make considerable investments in product innovation to strengthen our pipeline of affordable niche products for local and international markets.

We are now looking forward for international market with our products to enter into several emerging markets like ASEAN countries, MENA region and South America. We expect that the international component of our pharmaceutical business will grow significantly in width and depth in upcoming days. Pharmasia is determined to achieve its goal of becoming a key health partner in niche healthcare solutions with affordable price. Pharmaceutical is a highly regulated and upfront business, which demands extreme responsibility and needs high business acumen. Pharmaceuticals is close to my heart and I personally lead the pharma team and feel honored to be a part of this team. At Pharmasia, we have grown many folds in past 12 years and have big plans in terms of having innovative products to be global presence through more new molecules and expanding the existing manufacturing facilities for new and advanced molecules for terminally ill patients. While the existing product list is very interesting, we are working on new generation molecules, which is being incessantly added to our product list. Our policy is to have no shortcuts and do everything with highest standards – right from choosing a product, to its manufacturing and analysis validation, real time stability conforming the quality standard with the manufacturing excellence.

We are fortunate to have a team of highly professional and dedicated staff. The credit for exponential growth goes to them.
